Push the lead foot 11 to 10 to 9:30 in transition
As the downswing starts, the instructor cues pushing the lead foot toward 11 o'clock on an imagined clock face, then feeling that shear force move from 11 to 10 to 9:30 as the club comes down. He describes it as a shear force across the ground and, to teach the feel, holds the student's calf and pushes it forward so the student can fight the pressure. The left foot is used to help pull the club around the corner.
