Straighten the trail leg in the backswing for more turn
Rather than keeping the trail (right) leg flexed through the backswing, the coach straightens it, which he says produces rotation right off the bat and gets his shoulders turned about 45 degrees by the top of the backswing. He frames the flexed-knee 'resistance' as what limits the turn.
