Narrow the arc to nip a greenside bunker shot
To tighten the shot, narrow the arc through the ball: choke down, get lower with the hands between the knees, take a slightly wider stance, and stop chasing backswing length. Keeping the hands in a small box through the ball helps nip it a little more.
