Practice short-sided chip shots to pick landing spots

The speaker recommends going to a chipping green and practicing short-sided chip shots, or shots where you barely have to carry. The point is to force yourself to pick a specific spot to land the ball on the green so it rolls out to the pin, using the example of a bunker shot that lands just on the green at the perfect distance. He says this is what he works on whenever he is chipping and thinks it is how you improve a lot.
