Tighten misses before chasing max distance

The fitter frames the driver goal as making bad shots finish closer to good shots, not only improving the player's best ball. He uses ball speed, smash factor, spin, height, and landing angle to decide that spin reduction is useful, but he does not want spin so low that control problems appear.
