Sprint drill: five non-stop swings to build lag
For building lag, the instructor uses a 'sprint drill,' a dominant-side-only drill done with the red (heaviest) super speed training club. You make five swings consecutively without ever stopping the motion — you don't reset at the bottom, you swing and immediately go back into the next swing. The goal is that by the fifth swing your body is way out ahead of where the club is. The instructor says the drill helps increase lag.
