The instructor recounts a case in which the changes were to open the clubhead to reduce loft and squeeze the spin-loft window, get more upward through impact, and pay closer attention to strike. The result raised launch angle to about 12.5-13 degrees, lowered spin to about 2,100 rpm, and recovered more than 20 yards that had been going to waste.
