The instructor recalls that before stability shafts existed, they used a Dynamic Gold X7 wedge shaft -- the stiffest steel shaft they could find, about 330 CPMs -- in their own putter. They also cite a recommendation from Jim McKay at Quintic, who really likes the KBS C-Taper 130X as a putter shaft.
