Understand how heavy range practice sandblasts grooves

The speaker warns that hitting a lot of range balls accelerates wedge groove wear. Range balls are hard and can be covered with grit, so hitting them is, in their words, like sandblasting the face of a wedge, and little pebbles or rocks that get in there can kill the grooves.
