Pick a spot in front of the ball to aim wedges

The coach aims his wedges by finding something very definitive in front of the golf ball and connecting to the target before hitting the shot. He describes using a spot just ahead of the ball plus the target as two points to connect to, and says he likes to stay open a little longer and connect to the target prior to hitting.
