Ease into a stiffer shaft with slightly higher torque

The instructor suggests that if you are moving into a stiff shaft for the first time while increasing your speed, you might want one with slightly higher torque so it does not feel like you are swinging something overly stiff. That way it does not influence you to think you have to swing harder to make the shaft bend.
