Close the arm gap for open torso, closed shoulders
From the down-the-line address you do not want any gap between the arms. A visible gap between the arms means you have too much tilt and a closed torso; keeping the arms together comes from side bend opening the torso. Done right it is a torso-open, shoulders-looking-closed position.
