Add putter weight, Tiger-style, to get more roll
The instructor has added weight to putters a couple of times this week. He recounts that Tiger used to add one, two, or three strips of lead tape depending on the pace of the greens, so he could make the same stroke while the extra mass behind the hit gave the ball a little more roll. The instructor now leans on this with players, asking them to test adding a bit of weight; he did it with two players' putters that week.
