Use turf-like surfaces for indoor wedge fitting
A firm artificial mat can mask wedge-turf interaction because the club does not enter the surface enough to reproduce the strike location seen on grass. The indoor fitting surface was selected to reproduce turf strike location, and its wooden base made heavy strikes easier to detect by sound.
