How to do triphasic lifting for the golf swing

The instructor describes triphasic training as three phases you rotate through on a lift. In the first phase you emphasize a slow five-to-seven-second lowering with a little lighter weight, giving more time under the weight, then explode up. In the next phase you lower at a normal pace but pause at the bottom for five to seven seconds before transitioning. In the final phase you lower without really pausing and just explode up.
