Blind-test wedge bounce to reduce preference bias

The speaker recalls Bob saying bounce is a golfer's friend, since ego often leads golfers to want less bounce than actually helps them. When fitting, especially on tour, the speaker blind-tests wedges by not letting the player see which club they are hitting, then reveals afterward that the wedge which tested best is often not the one the player expected to prefer. The speaker says this expands a player's wedge understanding and gives a deeper sense of what fits their own motion and the courses they play.
