Understand how a loft sleeve lowers delivered loft
The instructor says a 13.5-degree head remains a 13.5-degree head when its loft sleeve is turned down; the sleeve sets the face open. Closing that face back to square reduces the dynamically delivered loft, which is how the setting plays as 12 degrees.
