Use shaft-to-toe distance to control putter rotation

The instructor calls the distance from where the shaft enters the head to the toe one of the most underrated parts of putter fitting: the longer that distance, the more stretched out the head and the slower its rate of rotation, making it more stable. He notes a true blade putter is about nine and a half centimeters from shaft insertion to toe and rotates slowly, while a center-shafted putter is about four centimeters and wants to rotate more.
