Use a ground reference for swing pattern

Place an alignment trainer or another object on the ground as a reference. The speaker says his priority in this session is developing motion around a repeatable ball-striking pattern, and he occasionally checks whether the ball starts down the intended pattern line rather than making every shot target-focused.

Try it

  1. put something on the ground that gives you some reference to alignment
  2. occasionally when I hit a shot I'll come back and make sure the ball is heading down my intended target pattern line
