Groove alignment with two parallel sticks
To groove alignment, the coach recommends putting two sticks (or clubs) down parallel to each other and building the feeling of proper alignment, practicing with them regularly as pros do. Walking into the shot, he checks that the club face is perpendicular to the stick and his feet are on the line, so he knows he's square. He notes alignment is a feel that gets rusty over time and needs to be kept sharp.
