Use angle of descent to spin the ball back and stop it

The instructor explains that stopping a shot depends on angle of descent, not just spin. They say a steeper land angle gets the ball to deaden on the bounce, and that is what lets the spin kick in. You can hit it high-spin and have it skip in, or high-spin and low and it will stop, but you will never spin it back unless the angle of descent is right.
