The speaker estimated that loft alone changes spin by only a couple hundred rpm per degree. In this design, head geometry, mass placement, offset, sole thickness, center-of-gravity depth, and sweet-spot height were also changed; loft handled launch angle while sweet-spot placement handled spin rate.
