Judge your game over 5-10 rounds, not one

The speaker recommends looking at your last five or ten rounds together rather than any single round when trying to read your game. Their reasoning is that there is so much variance day to day in every part of the game, regardless of skill level, that even a 20 handicap or a tour pro can have huge fluctuations in each part of the game in any given round. Aggregating a handful of recent rounds gives a clearer read on what your game actually looks like.
