Load the trail arm to create two power levers
PorzakGolf's coach teaches that the trail arm should supply two points of leverage, not one. Beyond the familiar wrist set (gripping the club in the fingers), he says a stiff, straightened-out trail arm causes disconnection at the top and runoff and limits how much power you can create. Instead, soften the trail arm and let the trail elbow bend and relax so it becomes a pivot point everything rotates around, giving a second lever you can release as you turn for more speed.
