Swing for stability and compression, not raw speed

When a golfer wants to hit the ball far, the instinct is to swing as hard as possible, which he says is the wrong way to create speed. Instead, when he sets up wanting distance he thinks about stability and about compressing the golf ball rather than speed at the top of the swing. He frames it with his saying 'slow is fast and fast is far.'
