Match ball to putter or downhill putts run away

The instructor makes the case for getting fitted for your putter-and-ball combination: modern balls tend to be a little firmer, and paired with an older putter the ball comes off the face faster. With a hard ball and a hard face the ball comes off quick, which makes downhill putts suddenly very tricky to control.
