Turn head with the body to rotate faster
To rotate faster, the instructor advises against keeping the head fixed down ("grabbing the head"), which he feels catches the body, especially for someone with limited flexibility. Instead he turns his head together with his body, and at the top of the backswing he looks ahead of the ball rather than at it, which he says lets the body turn more freely and spin faster and easier.
