Use a clown-nose ball to present wedge bounce

The instructor demonstrates a low-tech chipping and pitching drill using a clothes peg with a small red ball (a "clown's nose") clipped to the bottom of the wedge shaft as a visual for bounce. Taking the club back a little hooded and outside makes the red ball end up on the right-hand side of the shaft, so bounce has to be thrown forward late, changing from negative to positive bounce very rapidly. Instead, as the club goes back add a little rotation to the face for every degree so the ball stays under the shaft, keeping a little extension in the lead wrist; then in transition feel like you put the ball on the front side of the shaft to add bounce, so you can be aggressive with the bottom of the swing and hit high, soft shots.
