Know what forgiveness really means in an iron

The speaker defines forgiveness as a club's ability to mask the deficiencies in your delivery or ball flight, not the club that goes the furthest or that you can hit most of the time, but however the club allows for your deficiencies. The speaker illustrates it with a shallow-delivery player: it doesn't matter how forgiving the club is, if it has a big wide sole they'll struggle with it.
