Expect similar results from different shafts, same swing

Shaft makers put real effort into manipulating a shaft's profile, torque, and layering to change performance, but if you make the same swing dynamically you're likely to see very minimal change between shafts. The differences tend to show up only when a shaft feels off — too stiff, or just not good — and the golfer reacts by changing something in the swing.
