Adjust loft and setup for a downhill short-game lie
Off a downslope the ball comes off hotter and quicker, so the instructor selects a 56 rather than the 52 he'd use on a flat lie, so it doesn't spin and launch too much. He plays the ball a bit further back with a little more shaft lean, keeps it low, and does not release the shot at all off these slopes.
