Match loft and lie before comparing irons

When comparing different iron models, the fitter set every club to the same spec (29 degrees of loft and a 61-degree lie angle) to control variables. The point is that loft differences alone change the results, so an iron with more loft can spin more and one with less loft can show higher ball speed. Standardizing loft and lie lets you compare the heads themselves rather than their stock specs.
