Trace outlier drives to strike point

Outlier drives — a wicked low spinner or an otherwise rogue ball flight — tend to come down to strike point. When the strike starts moving around the face, that's a bad sign: the intent is to match the club's sweet spot to the middle of the ball for maximum energy and the least curvature. Struck off-center and inconsistently, the face's bulge and roll can create havoc with launch conditions.
