Aim the club face first: a three-step setup routine
The instructor's repeatable three-step setup routine, which she teaches her students. Walk in with your feet together, then step one: aim the club face first at your target (she says you can then also check your forearm and shoulder alignment). Step two is a step to the side with the lead foot, and step three an equal step with the right foot for a ball in the middle. For the driver she uses a variation - a little step with the left foot and a big step with the right foot, especially for a habitual slicer.
