Bank the trail foot and extend the back to sling the club
To create the extension that lets you sling the club through, the instructor gives a simple setup: bank the trail foot in, turn the hips toward the target, and really extend the back. He notes it works even for a golfer with limited mobility, who reached a more extended, comfortable position from which he could sling the club rather than leaving it behind with no power.
