Clamp the grip to 8-9, then release to 1-2

The Handsy Golf coach sets grip pressure in two stages: first clamp the 'claws' onto the club hard at address, about an eight or nine out of ten, while locking the elbows. Then drop that pressure down to a one or two and maintain the light one-to-two for the entire swing. Once the elbows are connected and the claws are set, you don't need to increase the squeeze during the swing.

Try it

  1. when you clamp your claws to the club, you want to feel like the grip pressure in a sense is like maybe like an eight or nine, like really clamp it and lock those elbows
  2. And then from there, drop that pressure down to like a one to two
  3. Now throughout the swing, maintain the one to two, the entire swing
