Why one-length long irons need different head engineering

The instructor explains that Sterling's one-length irons use different head engineering for the short versus long irons: the long irons are built with more ball speed, a lower CG, and a little more offset to promote a slightly higher ball flight. He says this addresses a problem some golfers have had with one-length sets, where the long irons fly too low and the longer clubs' distances (six, five, four) start to bunch up. The long irons use what the maker calls high COR technology to increase ball speed on those clubs.
