Aim feet and target lines parallel, not shoulders at target
The coach explains alignment uses two parallel lines: the target line, which runs from the ball through your target, and the foot line, which is parallel to it, so the club face and path travel correctly to send the ball to the target. He warns against a commonly taught check of laying a club across your shoulders and pointing it at the target, because pointing your shoulders at the target naturally aims you to the right.
