Regulate exit speed consistently for distance control

The instructor says one of the most overlooked and underrated parts of helping a golfer's putting is regulating the speed at which the ball leaves the putter face -- what they call the putter's 'impact ratio' -- and that this regulation is what distance control is. They say keeping that impact ratio consistent every time means you are not guessing at the putter's different outputs, which supports more consistent distance control.
