Find straight putts at the high and low points of the hole

For green reading, the instructor teaches finding where the straight putts are using what he calls the zero break line. On a simple pitched slope (picture a roof with the hole in the middle), the highest point relative to the hole and the lowest point define the straight putts: water flows straight from the top point down through the hole to the bottom point, so a putt from the bottom of the hole up to the top, and vice versa, is straight.
