Trust what you feel over the swing-weight scale
A counterbalance shaft can disturb what a golfer feels as swing weight, so a gram-scale reading and what the player feels can be very different. The instructor says what you feel matters more than what the scale says - if a club feels heavier to you, that is 'truth to the player.'
