Track wind with a fixed compass bearing
A tour caddy explains reading wind with a compass: every wind direction has a degree number (here it is coming out of 158 degrees), so you can convert the wind into a fixed bearing. He carries a compass that spins to that number and stays set there all day, giving a constant reference for wind direction on every shot rather than re-guessing it each hole.
