Use a reverse overlap grip to quiet the hands putting
To take the hands out of the putting stroke, switch from a full-swing overlap grip to a reverse overlap: put every finger of the right hand on the grip, then lay the left forefinger over the top. This lengthens the lead thumb and adds structure, making it hard for the hands to do too much.
