Let the lie work for you on chips

A poor lie takes spin off the ball and makes it run out, so match the shot to the pin. With plenty of green between you and the flag, just play a normal shot and let the lie make the ball release; with a tight pin you have to get more down and steeper on it. Sometimes the lie works in your favour when you need the ball to run to the hole.
