Place a ball behind the ball to stop fat contact

A feedback drill for cleaner contact: a second ball is placed behind the golf ball, so any shot caught a little fat with grass or ground behind it would strike that back ball. The coach calls it a go-to drill and says it helps ball flight and the quality of contact, producing a squarer clubface and a more direct angle down on the ball.
