Clip it off a tee peg to beat the over-the-top move
To break an over-the-top move, the coach has the player hit shots off a tee peg. Because the ball is teed up, an over-the-top swing bottoms out into the tee and launches too high, so the drill forces you to shallow the club and come more from the inside. The checkpoint is to clip the ball off the top of the peg without moving the peg, ideally producing a slight draw.
