Take yardage off by shortening the swing, not decelerating

The speaker describes how he takes yardage off knock-down shots. He says the usual tendency is that guys decelerate and pull shots; instead he keeps set shorter swings - a 10-yard-off and a 5-yard-off swing whose stopping points he knows - without changing any acceleration, and that alone takes yardage off. His main focus is keeping his chest moving through the ball toward the target, because if he stalls his chest on a shorter swing while keeping the same acceleration he pulls or wipes it.
