Downhill into wind: multiply the wind by about 1.5

Phil Mickelson gives a rule of thumb for wind on an elevated, downhill shot into the wind: because the ball is in the air longer than on a level shot, the wind affects it roughly one and a half times as much. His worked example: an 18-yard wind plays like about 27 yards.
