Match an outward trail knee with side bend
An outward-kicking trail leg paired with level shoulders can pull the golfer off the shot and produce large pulls or a stuck position. Craig Hanson prefers the trail leg not to kick out, but says a golfer who retains that move needs shoulder turn, side bend, and neck tilt to stay in the shot; less-flexible golfers may be better served by reducing the kick.
