Ball-forward 52 chip for fluffier into-grain lies
When the ball sits down in slightly longer, fluffier grass into the grain, play a release-two chip with a 52-degree wedge (slightly narrower sole). Put the ball well forward — right on the left toe — keep the swing wide, and apply a little extra speed to release the club through. The forward ball position and added speed keep the club sliding through the grass so it never gets caught.
